Relaunching our School Meals
From Monday 3rd February we will be launching a new school menu which the Trust’s catering manager has developed, enabling a greater choice, whilst preserving quality and value for money.
Independent experts have confirmed that the new menu continues to meet all of the food standards set by the Department for Education, and have also commented “The majority of dishes are freshly produced each day, with a low proportion of processed products. Recipes have been developed to include a high proportion of wholemeal products and vegetables which are incorporated within main dishes. Salads are available on a daily basis. The menu offers a good balance of healthy and appealing products for primary school pupils.”

Every day there is the choice of a hot main meal, a vegetarian alternative, a deli options (baps/wraps), or a full salad, plus with all options, a side salad, petit pain, a choice of dessert or fresh fruit, with milk or water to drink. For children in year 3 and above, the portion sizes are bigger than for those in years reception, 1 and 2.
The entire meal combination is available at the fixed price of £2.65 for children in year 3 and above; please remember that ALL children in reception, and years 1 and 2, are able to have the meal completely free.
