We aim to be totally integrated into the local community inviting a wide range of visitors into the school from the local area as well as from afar. We will make links with local businesses and encourage them to be part of the school community and to share their expertise and talents with the children. As a Dementia Friendly School we will also be making close links with the more elderly members of the local community and look forward to sing-a-longs, arts and crafts afternoons and cookery sessions. Watch this space to see how we make those links and how the children benefit from the support of the local community.
