A character from a well-known story had come into our school today and left some clues as to who it could have been! Year 2 were set the challenge of being story detectives and used the 4 clues, one at a time, to think about which story they could be from. After the first clue of the sticks, we thought perhaps it could have been stickman or Little Red Riding Hood, as this story is set in the forest, but, after seeing the next clues of brick, straw and a wolf footprint, we soon realised it was the Big Bad Wolf from the 3 Little Pigs! 

We cannot wait to start our English learning on the 3 Little Pigs and linking this to our Science learning!
