Today, we had a very special visitor called Rayson. He was born in Kenya and moved to the UK in 2001. Rayson gave us an insight into what is was like living in Kenya and their traditions. This included things like the climate, what they wear, what they eat etc. To truly give us an experience of Kenyan life, Rayson bought in many different artefacts, explaining about each and every single one and, also giving us the opportunity to try lots of them out... including fighting with spears and shields (safely!), playing African instruments and trying on African clothing.

A huge thank you to Rayson for giving up your time to come and give us a wonderful afternoon!
