Monkeys, tortoises and ostriches… oh my! Not to mention cheetahs, zebra, giraffes, multiple breeds of monkeys and all other manners of fascinating creatures!

If these pictures are anything to go by, we had a right giraffe at Paignton Zoo today. Though, we should address the elephant in the room… there aren’t many adults seen in any of the pictures. Were they eaten or just locked up in their natural habitat?! We can confirm though, that all the cheeky monkeys we took on the trip, have been safely returned!

The children thoroughly enjoyed looking for a range of African animals at the zoo and consolidated all of this with an African Safari talk from the Education Team which involved investigating lots of African animal artefacts!
