This afternoon we became adventurers, exploring Planet Earth.

We enjoyed crawling through the tunnel, following the fairy lights into the dome,  where we looked at the night sky and images of planet Earth from space.   We visited the jungle, savannah, desert and found out about deforestation in the Amazon. We even got a little wet when we visited the rainforest! We also learnt about the animals that made each of these habitats their home. 

With the help of Norah and Rory we found out how animals evolve over time to adapt to their surroundings.

Our adventures finished with a visit to a rubbish dump and a discussion about some of the things that each of us can do to take care of our wonderful planet.
