We were super excited to receive a parcel all the way from Kenya before half term! The children discussed what they thought it could be and when they opened it, they found a thank you letter and present all the way from Kapiti Plain! Little Ki-Pat was very grateful to receive the information leaflets the children created and posted to him and to say thank you, he sent them some cress seeds to plant. Little Ki-Pat told the children how to take care of their seeds and they learned the meaning of the word 'responsible'. The children decided, as it was nearly Halloween, that they would like to add spooky faces to their pots and were excited to see the cress grow to look like hair! The children took their seeds home to look after over half term and then sent photographs of their cress as it grew. You were super responsible looking after your cress seeds, Tansy!
