To support our PSHE learning about future career aspirations, Tansy were visited by a police officer called Ian this morning. Ian discussed the role of a police officer with the children and showed them his handcuffs, baton, police helmet, hat and radio. The children thought of some super questions for Ian, most of which focussed on how he caught bad people! Ian then took the children outside to look at his police motorcycle. Many of the children had a go sitting on the motorcycle and a few were brave enough to stay close by while Ian put the sirens on. We wonder how many Tansy children will become police officers when they are older.
