Tansy were very excited to use the binoculars they made last week to look for birds this afternoon as we enjoyed participating in The Big School Birdwatch! To help entice the birds to our garden, we hung cheerio birdfeeders in the trees. The children then enjoyed looking for the birds photographed on their sheets. The Big School Birdwatch tied nicely in with our science learning this week about migration and the children looked for the non-migratory birds they had learned about in our science lesson.
