Today we held our very own blue lantern parade to celebrate the night spirits that we learned about through or literacy focus story, Ning and the Night Spirits. The children waved streamers and wore hats they'd made over the past few weeks and some of the children played musical instruments too. As we paraded, the children chanted messages such as ‘Night spirits are friendly!’ and ‘Night spirits are gentle’ to help others learn not to fear them. What a fun way to finish our literacy unit ☺️
