This afternoon we continued learning about Black History Month when sharing the story of Marcus Rashford. We learnt his families often relied on food banks as he grew up and how that influenced his later life. Rashford worked to ensure all children had enough food to eat when schools were closed during Covid. 
 

In Rashford’s story, it shared how some people were unkind to him during his big football match. Afterwards, we went outside and took turns to score a goal. If we missed, we talked about all the positive things we could say to encourage and support one another
