Last year we were lucky enough to receive a public access  defibrillator supplied by the charity Jay’s AIM. The team from the charity also came into school and carried out training for the year 5/6 children, staff and members of the local community.

The children decided that they would like to raise some funds to support this amazing charity and agreed that a sponsored run throughout October would be a fitting challenge. We are challenging the children to run 4 miles throughout the month of October.

Here are some photos of our amazing children running laps of the school playground in the sunshine today. In total the children will be running around 70 laps each!!!
