Kitchen assistant:

 

FANTASTIC NEWS – Kingsteignton School is now in brand new accommodation with a state of the art kitchen and an opportunity has arisen to join our expanding and friendly staff, as a Kitchen Assistant.  You will have the chance to start at the beginning of this new venture in a beautiful, purpose built building.

The United Schools Trust is seeking to appoint a part time Kitchen Assistant for 12.5 hours per week.   We are looking for a cheerful and hard-working person ideally with a background knowledge in catering. You will be working under the supervision of the United Schools Trust Kitchen manager and the Principal and will be  willing to assist in a variety of jobs ranging from  cooking, warming and serving prepared hot and cold food, washing up and cleaning kitchen and dining tables/chairs after use.

38 Weeks per annum (term time only)

Teaching Assistant:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working and creative teaching assistant to join our rapidly growing school and our small, friendly team. The post will be to support three SEND children, in Year 3 who have Educational Health Care Plans, afternoons only in the first instance. You will need to have good literacy and numeracy skills and be able to support children towards aspirational targets which will allow them to achieve their potential and beyond. You will have high expectations of yourself and work within our behaviour framework to ensure that children are set consistent boundaries within a positive learning environment. You will work under the supervision of the classroom teacher to support teaching and learning. A relevant childcare qualification, experience in a primary setting and evidence of supporting children with SEND would be desirable. Visits to the school would be welcomed.
