We promote the values of friendship, compassion, justice, courage and perseverance.
Partnership working with the United Schools Federation
Kingsteignton School works in close partnership with the United Schools Federation (USF). This comprises St Michael’s Primary School in Kingsteignton (an outstanding school – Ofsted 2011); St Catherine’s Primary School and Nursery, Heathfield (a good school – Ofsted 2015); Marldon Primary School (a good school – Ofsted 2015) and St Mary’s Primary School, Brixton (an outstanding school – Ofsted 2014). The USF’s track record is remarkable. They have worked not only with the schools within the federation to bring them up to a very high standard but also with a range of additional schools across the county with a variety of needs to help improve and develop them. By working in partnership with the USF, the school benefits from a shared curriculum and shared expertise (eg SENCO (Special Needs Co-ordinator), counselling, leadership). In addition, children have access to a wide range of clubs run across the federation schools; a fleet of minibuses and USF residential visits.
